OPENING
Let us praise God for the life-giving Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, inflame our waiting hearts

Psalm 149
1Hallelujah! Sing to the LORD |a new song,
       God's praise in the assembly |of the faithful.
2Let Israel rejoice |in their maker;
       let the children of Zion be joyful |in their ruler.
3Let them praise their maker's |name with dancing;
       let them sing praise with tambou- |rine and harp.
4For the LORD takes pleasure |in the people
       and adorns the |poor with victory.
5Let the faithful re- |joice in triumph;
       let them sing for joy |on their beds.
6Let the praises of God be |in their throat
       and a two-edged sword |in their hand,
7to wreak vengeance |on the nations
       and punishment |on the peoples,
8to bind their |kings in chains
       and their nobles with |links of iron,
9to inflict on them the judg- |ment decreed;
       this is glory for all God's faithful ones. |Hallelujah!

HYMN FOR THIS WEEK AFTER PENTECOST LBW 161
O day full of grace that now we see appearing on earth’s horizon
Bring light form our God that we may be replete in his joy this season
God shine for us now in this dark place Your name on our hearts emblazon

God came to us then at Pentecost His Spirit new life revealing
That we might now more from him be lost All darkness for us dispelling
His flame will the mark of sin efface And bring to us all his healing

When we on that final journey go That Christ is for us preparing
We’ll gather in song, our hearts aglow, All joy in the heavens sharing
And walk in the light of God’s own place with angels his name adoring

PRAY THIS PRAYER DAILY
Gracious God, you taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending them the light of your Holy Spirit. Grant that we, by your Spirit, may have a right judgment in all things, and evermore rejoice in the Spirit’s holy counsel; thru hour Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

PRAY THIS IN THE MORNING
I give thanks to you, my heavenly Father, thru Jesus Christ your dear Son, that you have protected me thru the night form all danger and harm. I ask that you would protect me today from sin and every danger, so that my life and actions may please you. Into your hands I commend my body and soul and all that is mine. Let your holy angel be with me so that the wicked foe may have no power over me. Amen

PRAY THIS AT NOON
Blessed Savior, at this hour you hung upon the cross, stretching out your loving arms. Grant that all the peoples of the earth may look to you and be saved. Amen

OPENING
Alleluia, Christ is risen / risen indeed, Alleluia

PSALM 99
1The LORD is king; let the |people tremble.
       The LORD is enthroned upon the cherubim; let |the earth shake.
2The LORD, |great in Zion,
       is high a- |bove all peoples.
3Let them confess God's name, which is |great and awesome;
       God is the |Holy One.
4O mighty king, lover of justice, you have es- |tablished equity;
       you have executed justice and righteous- |ness in Jacob.
5Proclaim the greatness of the LORD
and fall down be- |fore God's footstool;
       God is the |Holy One.
6Moses and Aaron among your priests, and Samuel among those
who call upon your |name, O LORD;
       they called upon you, and you |answered them,
7you spoke to them out of the pil- |lar of cloud;
       they kept your testimonies and the decree |that you gave them.
8O LORD our God, you answered |them indeed;
       you were a God who forgave them,
       yet punished them for their |evil deeds.
9Proclaim the greatness of the LORD
and worship upon God's |holy hill;
       for the LORD our God is the |Holy One.

Come, Holy Spirit

HYMN FOR THIS FINAL WEEK IN EASTER – ELW 855

Crown him with may crowns, the Lamb upon his throne
Hark, how the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own
Awake, my soul, and sing of him who died for thee
All hail him as they matchless king thru all eternity

Crown him the Lord of love, behold his hands and side
Rich wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified
No angels of the sky can fully bear that sight
But downward bend their burning eyes at mysteries so bright

Crown him the Lord of life who triumphed o’er the grave
And rose victorious in the strife for those he came to save
His glories now we sing, who died and rose on high
Who died eternal life to bring and lives that death may die
